At Searcy High School, we believe in developing well-rounded students who lead with purpose, creativity, and compassion. Our diverse range of student clubs empowers learners to explore their passions, serve their communities, and connect with others who share their interests. Whether your passion lies in academics, arts, service, leadership, or culture, there's something here for everyone.

 

📰 Media, Arts & Publications

  • Lion Press – Produces online articles and journalism focused on school and community events. (Matthew Bowman)

  • Lion TV – A student-run video and broadcast media club, airing news, sports, and creative content on YouTube. (Matthew Bowman)

 

🎨 Visual & Performing Arts

  • Choir – Performs in regional and state competitions, concerts, and local events. (Amy Thomas)

  • Fine Arts Club – Encourages creative expression and uses art for school and community service. (Terry Hester)

 

🤖 Technology & Career-Oriented

  • EAST – Students develop real-world solutions using cutting-edge tech, including GIS, CAD, 3D design, and more. (Kelly Martin)

  • FBLA – Builds business acumen through service projects, conferences, and leadership competitions. (Heath Stewart)

  • FCCLA – Focuses on family sciences and leadership. Activities include STAR events and community service. (Tommi Johnston)

  • FFA – Develops leadership and career skills through agriculture, livestock shows, contests, and conventions. (Addison Safley)

  • Educators Rising – Prepares future teachers with mentoring, service, and hands-on experiences. (Kristen Mote)

  • Beta Club – Encourages academic achievement and community service. (Catie Holman)

  • National Honor Society (NHS) – Recognizes excellence in character, leadership, service, and scholarship. (Jessica Martin)

🌍 Language & Culture

  • French Club – Promotes interest in French language and culture with annual activities. (Rachel McCready)

  • Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) – Supports athletes and students in living out their faith. (Bryant Turney)

  • Youth Advisory Council (YAC) – A student-led philanthropic group funding youth-serving nonprofits. 

  • Youth to Youth – Empowers teens to promote healthy, drug- and alcohol-free lifestyles. (Edie Hightower)

 

👫 Leadership & Outreach
